This blog was created out of a desire to creatively engage my mind. I am a professional Social Worker in various settings throughout Austin. With that kind of a profession I need an outlet for creativity and fun or anything unrelated to my work! You can ask any of my friends, my patience for making a quality piece of art or craft drives me crazy. After a little thought, I found a blog can be quick and easy and doesn't have to be just right. I do realize a blog can also take a ton of time and perfection - but you will notice that is just not my style!
Personally, I have had the privilege to live in several amazing cities as well as travel to many incredible places in my short life. One thing I strive to do is to completely and totally embrace the environment and culture of my location. It seems with searches for uniqueness and originality comes great adventure. I recently realized I have a history of great stories to share about the last few years of living in Austin and new ones come every day so I figured, why not write about it?
